TaShawn And Marho Ransome Akwenuke are the founders and CEOs of The African Reformation, better known as TAR. The married couple presently have two young children whom are sure to take prominent roles inside the organization as they mature into our future leaders. TaShawn is a graduate of Fullsail University with a BS in Business Internet Marketing, while Marho has a background computer development and is currently involved in grass roots politics inside Nigeria.
TAR was founded on a whim of the love of humanity. In 2015, after meeting Marho on social media, reading, and discussing about various issues affecting Nigeria including the curse of the black gold, TaShawn decided to travel to Nigeria with the hope of having the opportunity to change the lives of many through activism and human rights efforts. Although the plans of her initial visit were slightly halted, she returned to America, her country of Origin, only to return to Nigeria over the course of 5 years, living many aspects of a true Nigerian lifestyle, gaining the experience of being immersed in Nigerian culture and eventually becoming a wife to Marho in 2017. Shortly afterward the married couple brainstormed with the idea of TAR and since then have been working behind the scenes inside various Nigerian communities to make all of the content on this website possible.
